From Party Patsy to Praying Patricia
Book Reviews:
Sue Foster – A lot in your book resonated with my life. I have also in my life come across what you call entities, and it was only through reading your book that I almost had a conscious awakening of things I never knew about. I found it to be very insightful and brilliantly written A lot of the places I had tears in my eyes, I shared your pain and pleasures. I thought it was an epic book and wonderful how you started the story on your own and then included the journey with your partner, which was very touchy. The book enlightened me on many subjects that perhaps I needed to know more about, many things in your journey brought some sense into mine, like I could relate to it. I thought it was a brilliant read, I laughed and cried. It was an easy quick read like we were having a conversation. I think you are a brilliant writer. Lastly it especially enlightened me to be more conscious of things out there, because of reading your book.
Indira – I so enjoyed your book, what comes to mind is courage and fully allowing your intuitive self to guide one through difficult times instead of needing to control which is a biggy. Then to have strength and guts not to feel destroyed no matter the rejection. Even though the issues are serious, your writing style is humorous and light as you keep on pointing out the positive for the reader to focus on, finding that silver lining no matter how negative. From a reader’s perspective it informs, teaches, and inspires the reader to have courage and find comfort in the fact that they are not alone in similar situations. It reminded me that some ties to my own life needs to be severed without guilt. Its such a wonderful book filled with such fortitude dealing with life, yet remaining in the ‘zone’ of Higher Self. It is a reminder that no matter our trauma, hate, and resentment, that bitterness is not the answer. I feel so many people I know could learn from the teachings and your story, I would definitely acquire a few copies as gifts.
Shamara Windsor – From Party Patsy to Praying Patricia tells the personal journey of one woman’s spiritual quest as she embarks on a journey of self-discovery following a life of materialism, excess and misadventure. Along the way, we get to meet her varied and colourful archetypes, each one more determined than the next to place obstacles in her way while desperately trying to hold her back. Faced with painful rejection because of her bourgeoning beliefs, and following the loss of her prized home, she packs up her car and hits the road – destination unknown. What follows is a remarkable tale of synchronicity and calling which, coupled with an unshakeable belief, carries her through some of her darkest moments and into the light. This is a story of loss, of hope, of passion and dogged determination to walk her own path while spreading love and shedding light on the paths of others. Prepare to be amused and amazed, to have your perceptions challenged and to marvel at her indomitable spirit. Prepare to laugh and cry but most of all, prepare to be uplifted and inspired.
Vanessa Cottrell – “WOW!” Witty and funny, Chanel takes us on her personal “human” spiritual journey, filled with trials and tribulations, joy and love. Her insights push us to delve deeper into our own journey in the search for LOVE JOY and PEACE for ourselves and humankind.
